adventures in refinishing furniture, part one: before.
scored at the piccadilly, this lovely lady is destined to be part of my display for the upcoming luxe bridal event. i keep trying to imagine who tied that sweet lavender ribbon on one of the drawer pulls, and why they might have done so. i might leave it there, a little memento of a past life.
the only question is, once she’s all sanded down and ready for painting, what color should she be? suggestions appreciated.

>Yelllow with a mirror mosaic like top?
>I think its beautiful just the way it is, but you could paint it to tone with the rest of your display maybe?
>I think you could go two ways with it…. On one hand you could keep it neutral and distress it for the shabby look or you could go wild and paint it purple or mint green… I guess it depends on the rest of your set-up!
Good luck!
>wow, everybody is making some really great suggestions! the facebook folks say robin's egg, some shade of purple, or teal. thanks a bundle, ladies!
You should paint it a fresh sagy spring green. Something that keeps your mood full of energy.
